Dinosaur Woodworking is a custom cabinet and furniture shop that I began in 1999 in Eugene, Oregon. Initially it was a side business, a way to pick up a little extra work doing something I enjoyed. No great plans to be a professional woodworker, but I found it a nice diversion during a year spent gaining residency before graduate school. Graduate school happened, then stints as an adjunct professor and geomorphologist (which, as it turns out, is an actual profession); and nearly a decade later I jumped ship and took on woodworking full time. Dinosaur Woodworking has since morphed into a mixture of cabinetry, furniture, carpentry, and concrete counters and furniture.
